Spending the first two and a half years of my academic career as an English major, I found myself with the skills to be successful as a reader, writer, and editor. However, I knew I wanted something concrete to write about. Thus, I decided to study Nutrition and dedicate my life to writing books, articles, and research studies about the subject. I want to tutor because the art of writing essays is a difficult one. It does not come naturally to everyone, as I have found from tutoring in the past. Having someone to help organize and edit an essay can be the difference between a D and an A grade. I have experience in helping to construct superb essays from middle school papers to graduate school applications and all that falls in between.

Hobbies
My hobbies include doing anything with my dogs. I also enjoy being outdoors and volunteering with the local childhood obesity programs. Being a tutor, similar to nutrition therapy, is only successful if one can recognize that every child is unique and learns differently.
